OH man, you are going to get a lot of replies.....
I was more to your thinking and the general feelings that if you can hold back the crowds with a string then it isn't a sport, or if you can drink or smoke while doing it it isn't a sport.
I've changed my mind. Is sitting in a car turning left for 3 hours a sport?
I'm too old and too set in my ways, but I'm also too tired to argue what is and isn't a sport.
I've played Fortnite and I've seen what the people who excel at it do. If they want to be called athletes, I think they have earned it.
Side note, this came up in my office a couple months ago and there as an Oakland Raiders fan who was dismissing Esports. One of the youngest team members very eloquently pointed out that to his generation watching people get brain damage was stupid and why wouldn't they prefer to watch the very best participate in the same activities they do.
I hate to break it to you but Srgt. Friday has retired and so have Baker and Ponch. Cops wear either a frayyed polo shirt with the collar points starting to roll up or full on tactical gear.
Sadly, they behave very much the way they are dressed.
How about the silent bench warrants they issue to the general public where all of a sudden you get pulled over and there has been a bench warrant out for 18 months and they handcuff you and haul you off.
They could just issue these. Then, when a cop shows up to perjure themselves against someone ...bam in you go for contempt of court for 180 days.
Win win. A disrespectful cop is removed from the street, and the person they were going to lie about gets to go home because no one to testify against them.
I know someone who used to be in law enforcement, he got out and took a 50% cut in pay + benefits because he couldn't stand the bad apples, but was unwilling to risk his life to stand up to them and try to change the system (what with having a wife and kids that depend on him to come home each night).
According to him:
If another cop points out poor behavior he risks no one showing up in a timely manner when he calls for backup.
He risks having his equipment mysteriously disappear and/or fail.
The bad apples consider anyone who points out their misdeeds a traitor and worthy of the corresponding punishment.
I don't know how accurate what he says is, but given the behaviors we do see, that this goes one where we can't see is not beyond belief.

Maybe we should have Wray prove that to their satisfaction before discussing further.

Noticeable by it's absence from your list of games ... an obscure little game called Fortnite
Yes if you are persistent you may be able to get it to work but it is not supported and isn't a simple click and run proposition.
