As it is clear as a bell that a Lawyer wrote the article...I must point out this one thing. Given that she is quite reliable in expressing the generalized version of testimony...the following caught my eye.
Mr. Steele also testified that he believed the use of Mr. Cooper's signature on this document was authorized, because Steele introduced Cooper to the owner/controlling member of AF Holdings.
Now I do admittedly have Asperger Syndrome on the Autism Spectrum, so as such my mind, like most judges in a court room, take plain language very very seriously. The above statement implies to me that Steele simply thought that Cooper's signature was Authorized simply for just meeting a person. Since this is an accurate assessment to Steele's testimony on the matter, this all seems rather ominous to me about Steele. No lawyer in their sound mind could and should ever consider that simply introducing someone to another person as a means of authorizing the use of that person's signature. That's neither legally binding, nor will it ever be. Hats off to Mrs. King :)
"The closest thing that might apply to patent trolls is disability, as in their disabled nature when it comes to producing a freaking product or service. But that's a stretch even a drunk judge is unlikely to buy."
The nice young men in their white clean coats are coming to give them their meds :-3
For those who are curious about what the patent is over....the description of it is along the lines of "Creating custom preferences based upon user decisions"...I am thinking back to Ultima IV where you are asked a bunch of questions to choose your class of character with that!
There is one thing that should be noted. When any person with some sort of mental trauma in their life begins to lash out irrationally, and claims that they worked with al-Qaeda in secret with our government, needs to be detained for psych evaluation. Maybe the kid getting detained would be escaping from a particularly bad home life.
Actually, the charges are valid. The charges mentioned in the article are in fact minor ones. The most that could happen to P.T. is a psych evaluation under them. I know kids say the darnedest things and all, but man, claiming ties to al-Qaeda and claiming that you've secretly worked with them is so far fetched, it's probable that P.T. needed to be evaluated to figure out what was wrong in his or her life because of the way he/she lashed out. This is Ohio; we are mild by comparison.
His source for he initial denial that the NSA was doing no harm was the NSA itself....which means he understood full well what they were up to. They told him that they were complying with FISC orders and rulings which he is privy to seeing...if it were plausible deniability, the NSA would not have spoken to him.
Re: Classic "I'm a fool" statement, as only other choice is KNAVE.
Obama was stupid enough to get into a "he said/she said" argument...that's what I got from it.
Mind you blue, this is actually pretty bad since Obama kept parroting the NSA's defensive words to the public....that was before he admitted seeing it in the press. That means when accusations flew at the administration about the NSA, he didn't ask a source conducive to the general opinion of the people about the NSA spying...which happens to be what the press is reporting..that we do not like being spied like that.
Two things are revealed about Obama.
1. As nice as he is, he is extremely manipulative. The first evidence of this was when he was a senator...he would always protest against a bill being passed through only to vote for its passing when it came time to vote.
2. He has no empathy...otherwise he would have counseled with the press rather than ordering all their phone records.
Cameron is an idiot of sorts. Parliament is actually quite adamant against going into the middle of a civil war to intervene.
The major issue I have with going into Syria is that if we oust Assad, we will be aiding Al Qaeda. The rebels allium themselves with Al Qaeda and we've already given them arms and ammunition.
The only reason we should go in is to evacuate the civilian population.
""Although a motive for the shooting is unknown at this time, investigators have learned that the juvenile suspect was playing a video game on the Play Station III "Grand Theft Auto IV", a realistic game that has been associated with encouraging violence and awards points to players for killing people, just minutes before the homicide occurred," a statement issued by the Sheriff's Office said. "
The points system was only ever used in GTA and GTA2. The police have it wrong.
Also, it's actually an unknown motive which means it could have been the video game or anything else. The situation is that the game was the inspiration, there's this organization called the ESRB, and well the adults should have followed the ratings on their and passworded that rating on the PS3.
As for GTA IV. The physics in that game are more realistic and the violence in it is much more physics oriented than the rest of the series....this includes GTA V.
"One workaround is to create a fake account yourself. Use a disposable email account to reply to the automated email, and you can set up a Facebook (or any other) account with fake details without compromising your privacy."
Ah I hadn't known that. Thing is that even as a FaceBook user, I hadn't quite found where to get it. I assumed that the report had to with just registering for getting to the report. One thing is for sure, if the reports are individualized, then I really cannot complain about the idea of logging into FaceBook to get it.
....is a website I use to keep my anonymity when a simple registration is required to do a download or see an image. Porn sites and ROM sites are typically blocked but it is quite functional and all you have to do is provide a user name and password to a website you registered to to allow others to log in on so they don't have to register.
So for this transparency report that requires registration for use, just register once and then provide the user name and password to Bugmenot.
I wouldn't say I would worry about disgruntled admins as much as the fact that they still have access after they've been fired. What's more is that they've got only 100 people to remove the security credentials on what is likely thousands of computers.

"I remember that. I remember how he took advantage of the surge in pro-American sentiment to...oh...wait...he didn't do that."

"I remember how he bolstered economic growth, provided for the poor and sick and aged, protected the environment, stood for the rights of women and gays and immigrants...errrm...well not so much really."
You are making a huge contradictory statement...you are saying that Bush Jr. "bolstered economic growth"....and then saying that he didn't.
As for the other things...lets see now...Obama hasn't lifted the ban on abortions after the first trimester has he? Bush put that ban in place. When the Defensive Marriage Act was proposed, it was written in a majority led Democrat House and Senate...Obama voted for it! Yup great comparison.
"When you're an alcoholic halfwit who is largely incapable of actually understanding anything that's said to you, that's really not much of an achievement."
He was a recovered alcoholic who did a ton better than his successor. 7 minutes to address a nation concerning 9/11 vs 9 months for even a peep about the details of Benghazi...the latter of which was only exposed BY THE PRESS!
Re: Re: Re: I think we should start calling this a voyeurism fetish.
"I fail to see how the leader of a nation, upon hearing that his nation has just been attacked killing thousands, and responding by reading to children is somehow a mark of good leadership. Wouldn't apologizing to the kids, but saying there's an emergency he has to deal with have been the better response?"
Try telling that to the bunch of 5 year olds who were thrilled to see that a US president decided to take time from his busy schedule to spend the day reading to them. He finished the book and said goodbye and went straight into action calm and collected knowing exactly how to handle the situation and was mentally prepared to address the public.
Re: I think we should start calling this a voyeurism fetish.
I'm not sure if you are aware that before Clinton's push for FOIA and FMLA, you could not request court documents outside of being in court or take leave of your job without risk of losing it if a family member had a medical emergency that caused them to need assistance for the rest of their life.
Bush Jr. held his composure and finished reading to children after he was told about what happened the day 9/11 occurred. He held his composure and rallied this nation to never forget that day.
I never said anything about Google. The letter in the article pertained to Amazon's Kindle Fire payment system. I never said I disliked Apple..I grew up on the Macintosh.
