As far as I know, there isn't anything 'illegal' about Satanists or their rituals, other than being a 'heretical Christian sect' which seems to get other Christian sects' knickers in a twist.
Personally, since my eyesight isn't perfect, the extra resolution is wasted on me. So long as the picture is ok, I'm happy.
However, one explanation missing here that I read recently is that there is an optimum distance to view TVs based on their vertical height, and as the current generation of TVs get bigger, they don't work so well with the typical viewing room. These UHDs would therefore allow a good resolution without needing to have a super super big screen needing the length of a building to view on. So that might be a selling point if it can be demonstrated. Of course. these are already useful for where you need extremely large screens, but those are more niche markets compared to the main consumer market.
That is an incredibly stupid argument. Are you saying that Sony should sue Amazon or Apple for making music available, which helps their commercial business model?
Naah, I'm no zealot, I'm just an 'enlightened' member of the rest of the West, i.e. someone who doesn't feel so insecure (or murderous) as to need to have guns. :)
I do feel strongly that the NRA is at least partly responsible for recent bad events. Why is only the US subject to this amount of killing? But hey-ho, it's your kids and your 'freedoms'...
Well, you'd better not use a computer at home then, or a mobile phone, or thieves will know you have valuable electronic equipment!
Sorry, that is a pathetic argument. We can debate all we like about whether or not you deserve privacy on anything you own - but claiming that your gun shouldn't be registered just because someone might FOIA you is ridiculous. Guns should be licensed/registered (even if the info is only available to law enforcement). But then, I don't buy into the gun 'religion' any more than the average Republican buys into Islam.
I think you'll find that people were enslaved long before guns, back when everyone had the same slings and bows and arrows and swords and spears. You will also find that the people selling the slaves to the Europeans weren't Europeans but often other Africans...

Seriously, what is it about guns as a topic that turns an otherwise intelligent person into the equivalent of OotB or A_J?
