I'd expect it to be both, personally. cats represent the internet fairly well (in as much as anything does, at least), cat rhymes with bat, internet defence league, justice league, batman movie...
it all sort of ties together in a big ball of tie-y... stringy... stuff.
wonder what they did when they then found out that his replacement was another judge who was just as much in favour of actually following the law and seeking justice rather than bending over for the USG and their corporate puppeteers?
Re: Re: Doing Business in US makes you subject to US Law
actually, being in antarctica is interesting: a number of countries claim jurisdiction over various parts of it (the largest (mostly) undisputed claim belonging to New Zealand, actually (lots of claims overlap at the edges)).
the US refuses to acknowledge any such claims, except it's own (which is 'everything... if we ever decide we actually want it.') and i Think Russia (or the USSR at least) refused to acknowledge the idea that Anyone could have a claim. (i may be misremembering, look that one up.)
there's currently a treaty in force that renders the Consequences of such claims to be absolutely zero (beyond who's courts you end up in if you murder someone down there or something... and that depends mostly on who owns the base and where you're from, not the territory, anyway... with good odds of ending up in an NZ court no matter which way you slice it.)
you'd think so, but our parliament has a long history of being absolute IDIOTS when it comes to anything that even vaguely smells like it MIGHT get them a 'free trade deal' with the US.
they seem stuck on the idea that bulk milk exports = economic growth and screw everything else, basically.
and the current 'government' has the strongest and least assailable position yet seen since the introduction of MMP... what it wants, happens (i cannot recall. it may or may not need to get One additional person to vote with it to pass stuff. unfortunately, there's always at least one sucker on any given issue). which wouldn't be too bad if it weren't the biggest collection of pro-corporation, anti-citizen, short-term thinking, pocket-lining, cronyistic MORONS available.
i knew there was a reason i still bought everything on standard DVD. (except PS3 games. which i mostly buy second hand these days.)
well, you know, aside from it costing half as much or less and Blu-ray having no noticeable advantage for anything i can take advantage of (i have issues which render 3D worse than useless and surround sound, or even stereo, pointless.)
