It's not like they've got any political, religious, sexual orientation, or any other reasons to want to keep stuff hidden, so, why not let us see what they're doing?
Unless it's illegal!
Quick! We must raid the NSA headquarters claiming copyright infringement!
Just because you don't know about something doesn't mean it doesn't have influence.
Do you know about the Antarctic treaty?
If not, lemme explain...
It basically sets up Antarctica as a scientific preserve, which prevents any civilization from settling in down there. Yeah, that's right, it's not that it's freezing cold down there (humans live in Siberia, Northern Canada, Greenland and Northern Norway and Sweden after all), but it's because there's laws against it.
It has a lot of influence, but a lot of people don't know about it.

Hell, my grandfather died at age 79, do you think that copyright should be older than THAT?!
If so, you are nothing more than a copyright apologist.

When AT&T bought out Alltel, I was *SO* glad that I was able to go "FU" and give them back the phones, free of charge.

Notice how all the papers have AP by their article titles?
That means they just "stole" from the Associated Press.
So, where's the original contribution to journalism, eh?
Oh, right, there IS NONE!

Re: How do you make a cent by IGNORING?
By ignoring the way people were making parodies of it, and not claiming copyright infringement, it's become quite popular to the point of annoying.
Thus, people who have no idea what this is, goes to look for the original, and if they like it, they give money.
Course, if you weren't a complete copyright apologist, you'd know that.
