I was reading something about conspiracy theories recently, but I can't remember where. It was a formula that calculated how long an event (or non-event) could stay hidden, based on the number of people in-the-know and other factors. For example, if the moon landing truly were faked, it would have gotten out in 3.8 years. Mostly because someone involved either can't keep their mouth shut or intentionally outs said event (ie: Snowden).
I'm expecting an "October surprise" of a COVID-19 vaccine released in an end-run around the FDA rules. First doses just happen to go to Florida, Texas, and other states he needs to win in November.
If police officers and their management can't be held personally liable for paying settlements like this, the money should be taken from the police budget.
True. I always thought it was ridiculous that the military spends billions of dollars on equipment that was designed for them, but the government doesn't own the design.
Well, who's going to go out and buy a Hummer because they saw one in CoD? Not much of a market for them outside of militaries, and I don't think they sell the civilian models anymore. Most likely it was a money grab, trying to force Activision to license the brand.

I laugh when I see they're still using MAGA as a slogan. It's been 4 years under Trump - shouldn't America Be Great Again by now? LOL
