Daniel Snyder is widely considered as the worst owner in the NFL. There a plenty of owners that are highly regarded among fanbases. The Redskins would be better off if someone else, anyone else, really, came along and bought them.
I would argue that the only way to significantly advance space technology at this point would be another nationalistic space race, at least until the fledgling private space industry can do a bit more than put a human in low orbit for 6 minutes.
Hmm. I actually assumed it was in reference to the word "another," considering that we have yet to have even one nuclear war*. Can't "[sic]" also denote factual inaccuracy? I might've learned it incorrectly.
The underwear bomber boarded a plane outside the US and was caught by passengers on the plane when his pants bomb failed to ignite. Security was an utter failure, and would have failed just as horribly had the bomber attempted to board from within the US. In no way, shape, or form did the "system" work. That's why she was justly bashed for that statement.
I was already to come in and bash Miami for this, but I have to say this is not really a big deal.
And, for the record, this is not shooting itself in the foot. They did that a long time ago, which is why they haven't been relevant in college football in nearly ten years.
I'm not sure how it works in the UK, but in the US, public figures like politicians are not subject to such privacies and as such, a release is not required to film a politician or public official when out in public.
Didn't the Dell thing happen through an automatic system? Why should Dell be held to the typo price? It would be impractical for Dell to have a human check every single transaction that occurs, and the system itself is not flawed. This man would almost certainly have been charged for the purchase if it had been a more reasonable typo, and I'm sure Amazon would have refunded the excess and not held him responsible, just as Dell should not have been held to their typo. There's protecting the consumer, and then there's shafting the business. Protecting the consumer is fine, but Dell got fucked.
Maybe once we reach the point of computer generated hyper-realistic graphics in portable videogames, planned obsolescence will be, well, obsolete. But as long as the hardware can improve, PO is still all too viable, even if a software update as easy as one, two, three. And Apple managed to prove that it still isn't that easy with they're clusterfuck of a 2.0 launch.
I was a freshman at Tech last year and will be returning in the fall. Between Steam and P2P, I downloaded 100+ gigs of stuff last year, without any remark from the college at all.

That's not to say I don't believe it. I can't wait look at some of his work in a few years. But something just doesn't sit right with me.
I'm probably just jealous.
