I had a friend posting on FB yesterday adding as many people as he could to G+ through an exploit loophole. Which got shut later in the day - Wouldn't suprise me if they ended up with more people than expected
I am looking forward to trying out G+ - FB is slow, cluncky and far to open for my liking. I would be more interested in a desentralized social network, but currently there's not one that I know of that has enough of a userbase to look into
And how about free university education.... http://academicearth.org/
I think the more places that startup like this the better - perhaps in the future we won't need schools in quiet the same way....
I think that all car makers should be put away for 10 years as well then... because obviously they should know making a car go faster than the speed limit... well that would lead to others breaking the law......
I have a modded Console, and I can happily mod other peoples consoles, didn't realise it was against the law, well especially not here in Auz, You can buy chips and instructions all over the net.
The console then becomes a lot more useful, I have a wii which i have put homebrew on, and now I can load games without the need to put the discs in the drive, but straight from ISO's - so when I resell my games (Which I will) they are in good condition and keep their value.
Sure this allows me to copy games and do illegal activity, but that doesn't mean I will. I do like that with Homebrew there's a bunch more things you can do with your console.... Perhaps those anti should look into it rather than just assume everyone is a criminal.
You might be right, i definatly would want a bunch of songs I know first, but there are a bunch of songs which i didn't know on Guitar Hero that I know think are awesome, If someone released a game with a bunch of well known songs and a huge selection of unknown arists.. i think i'd totally head that way.
alas my problem is I have a wii... and I can't play rockband without rebuying the guitars and drums... if someone was to make a game with all the indie bands... i hope they would make the controllers compatable with ones already on the market as well (Just planting seeds.... :P)
I'm finding it so annoying lately that all the games I want to purchase keep coming out with stupid things like this.
All it means to me is that instead of handing over my hard earned cash to the company, instead i'll probably download a copy which has been cracked to enable offline play.
Starcraft 2 has stated that they will not alloy Lan play without first connecting to the internet as well - it's so frustrating but the only thing i can do in protest is not buy the game, I suggest others do the same, hit them where it hurts.. in their pocket.
