That the more they defend their current business practices, the more they prove that their primary purpose is to make money, not art. Which means they shouldnt be covered by US copyright as written in the constitution at all.
If the primary purpose is to create art, then the money is secondary and the discussion should be centered on how to create more art, not how to create more money...
I believe Australia just did this, and they freaked out saying it would increase smoking or some nonsense, because the only way to compete would be on price... ridiculous.
Yes, its a rootkit. Unless you know a LOT about Android, have rooted your phone, or have installed a custom ROM with this crap ripped out by someone that knows a lot about Android its impossible to remove.
This thing is as bad as Sony's attack on freedom last decade with its rootkit.
Also, this is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Like him or hate him, Ron Paul is the only member of your House of Representatives that has consistently held the same views for his entire 30 year career as a politician. Coming out against this bill is EXACTLY what he believes, and has always believed, since he is fundamentally against government regulation always. If you think that Ron Paul flip flops on anything, you sir, are a moron.
If it would have been possible to get the school in troubl by installing pirated software I would have in an instant. I hope thats been taken into account when punishment time comes ..
Damnit Marcus, but oh well. I hear deleting 'ESPN' from your own name has been deemed equally infringing, so check your inbox for the flood of nastygrams...

Wow, I'm incredibly surprised that no one wanted to partner with a bunch of self professed backstabbers in a business they openly claim to want to demolish. Im shocked that people who have managed to accumulate billions of dollars dont want to give it to them while they are actively and publicly trying to kill. Shocked.
What would you say about the US government then that the fed loaned out 16 000 000 000 000 dollars to the banks and foreign governments? Not that I disagree...
Do you have an official translation of that available? I would like to share it with some people I know, but its hard to use translations on a blog as a piece of evidence, regardless of the quality.
The reason I ask is because this is an idea that deserves to spread.
err, although if you consider a database as any structured set of data, then yes, they are all DBs. I tend to separate databases from data sets based on relational capabilities.
