My theory is that due to previous attempts by the NSA and other Western agencies to infiltrate their hardware, Huawei has actually become more secure. The NSA/CIA, etc. haven't been able to crack it, so they now have to demonize it so that US telecoms won't/can't use it and must use the NSA/CIA friendly Cisco and other equipment. The propaganda machines are working overtime for their NSA overlords to kill any chance of Huawei equipment being used.
I say this every time something with police comes up: go after their pensions! If you want police culture to change, hit them where it hurts. Currently, they don't give a damn because any punishment, no matter how rare, is paid for by the taxpayers, not the cops. Stop suing the city, attack their pensions and their unions. Bankrupt the damn police unions, bankrupt their pensions! Then, maybe, the "police culture" will change and they will actually be there to "protect and serve" instead of being nothing but a self-serving bully patrol.
Nothing is ever going to be done about criminal cops until you attack them where it actually hurts them: their pensions. As long as all these civil suits just go after the city's money, the cops don't give a damn. Go after the cop's pensions, though, and they'll notice. Make them homeless and destitute, then they'll pay attention.
Nothing is ever going to be done to rein in abusive policing until lawsuits attack their pensions. As long as the money is coming from taxpayers, the police and DAs don't care. Hit them personally, take the money from their pensions! Only then will we start to see some positive change.
Sandberg needs to go. She needs to disappear and never be heard from again, never to be hired by any other company, especially not in any position of power. She is a disease that needs to be eradicated.
The Sandberg interview on CBSNews is so ludicrous it is comical. She is so obviously lying, it is as if she's being puppeted by Trump. I hope this is the beginning of the end of Facebook. Let it become the new MySpace (empty).
Reason #5268 for why you should never trust a cop. Never. They are NOT on your side. They exist solely to protect themselves and their government, not citizens.
Isn't it way past due for AT&T to suffer a public execution again? It was done once before, but after deregulation and mergers, it needs to be done again. And bury Comcast in the same unmarked grave. They're both guilty of massive crimes against humanity.
