it was explained that since we use certain words "perhaps twenty times" in discussions about pornography and censorship, the system deemed us clearly a danger.
That sounds automated to me, and if that's not, then why would using words x number of times deem it bad
And when you vote for someone they always agree with you 100%, or change what they claimed during campaigning. And there's always someone you can vote for that isn't completely corrupt /s
VoIP or Skype has become a very simple way for scammers in foreign countries to try to hit people in the US with various scams. So should Skype/voip calling be shut down then?

I don't think he really paid attention to what anyone else (and by that I mean pretty much everyone else) was saying yesterday so he is a little confused as to the outcome
damn, I was hoping the troll was going to be too tired today to come up with more bs, after Marcus made him pull so much shit out of his ass yesterday in attempts to justify this
That's a valid point. But before how many people were never able to produce their ideas because they were unable to get funded? While we may lose some good content because they are assholes, I think overall we'll still gain more good content than what we may lose
I wonder if expalined this way to a jury such as in the case of Jammie Thomas, if they would be smart enough to realize just how ridiculous their $1.5 million award actually is. Though I'm not sure it would make a difference, since they awarded that in the first place, and anyone who had half a brain could see that the damages could not possibly amount to anything close to that
They have little to gain from such a spectacle, and everything to lose. I can't see them wanting to play your game, sorry!
By this statement I can only assume that you mean they would lose all their bs claim that it's only google, and you trolls would lose your arguments of 'but, but, it's just kids!' And they have absolutely nothing to gain, because in a real adult discussion, not one stacked, people could clearly see (for the few that don't already) just how full of shit they really are
Torrent search engines are links to stolen movies and music.
I guess all that OS software companies put out as torrents so they don't have to use their own bandwidth doesn't show up on those torrent search engines, or public domain items, or items artists upload themselves to get out there...
that are hopefully much harder to pirate. No, you're supposed to provide a product that people can easily purchase and want to purchase. If you are focusing on stopping piracy you're doing it wrong
With all these other countries coming out saying they'll look the ACTA when will the US actually investigate the ACTA itself or Obama signing it without really being allowed to
