"Oh, and to the point of the article - who the hell are Mannequin Men? I sure as hell haven't heard of them, but apparently they're small enough for 1,000 free downloads to make or break them. Hell, I had to read the headline 3 times to realise that it wasn't referring to Guns 'n Roses"
I thought the same and probably more half of those 1000 D/L’s did too, and that’s why the number is so low
ROFL, Android phones are worse than Apple’s IPhones/ IPod Touch. You can’t sync Outlook contacts, calendar, notes ,and favorites out the box. I won’t even get into the disaster the Android market is.
Well I guess I'm the only one here going to buy one? I am a little disappointed, I wanted to have a few more features. I will not be using it much for music but for videos and surfing the Net it going to be great, I also love the fact that my IPod Touch apps will work fine and that they will come up with nice stuff for it. I have a lot books that also have CD’s that contain PDF versions of the book and finally will have a way to read them when I travel. The other E-book readers from what I heard don’t properly display(scale) pdf’s. Also many of the pdf’s contain pictures or diagrams that couldn’t be display correctly.
"but the long and the short of it is that you're going to have a hard time finding a carrier offering Micro SIMs in the short term since the GSMA doesn't appear to be actively spearheading a mass conversion in the short term. In fact, from AT&T's perspective, this is better than a software lock in some ways -- you're not going to be able to download a hack that gets you on another network, so you're totally at the mercy of your carrier at choice for providing a compatible card. Intentionally evil? Perhaps not -- all standards have to start somewhere -- but it's an awful pain in the ass.#
I guess the new buzz word and must have is an App store. That scares me, why because these companies are going to think that the only thing needed to succeed is to have an app store and magically they will be making billions. They will not put the time and effort to making a well designed and simply site that customer will like and understand, take one look at the Android market place and the disaster that it is.
Sorry to break it to you but some of those companies did not choose to license those Kodak patents they were forced to by threat of lawsuit! Anyone know if the patent in question could apply this
“I skimmed over the patent, can't their complaint also apply to anything the with a ccd sensor like a webcam(like the one’s built in to netbooks and notebooks)? I skimmed over the patent, can't their complaint also apply to anything the with a ccd sensor like a webcam(like the one’s built in to netbooks and notebooks)?”
So innovative that you don't even know what they innovated. I skimmed over the patent, can't their complaint also apply to anything the with a ccd sensor like a webcam(like the one’s built in to netbooks and notebooks)?
I guess 200 patents isn't enough ? So many of these law suits has Apple been hit with, I guess the next I-Phone will have at least 300 + cover its ass.
I meant to quote the above post mentioning it as a resource hog, I don’t run Flash enough to know if it’s taking more than it really should. You can’t ignore the security issues that have been plaguing Flash for what seem like a long time. I know of at least 3 flaws that took more than 6 plus months to fix.
Not only is Flash a resource hog but what all the security vulnerabilities that needed to be fix or not yet fixed. I can Flash going to same way as Real in 3 plus years.
ROFL. I’m neither locked out or angry, I only go to a couple baseball games a year and rather watch the games within the comforts of my house. I feel for those that want to go to games and support their teams but are getting priced out by greedy owners that want extract every possible nickel from them. Since you asked about concerts I never been to one but I always had luck in finding where they would going to play or hang out afterwards and just head there.
