Seriously?? There are many reasons why people become homeless and illiteracy is not the main reason. You probably didn't mean it that way, but your post comes off a little contemptuous of people down on their luck.
Everything new leads to the end of civilization. Just in my own lifetime it has been repeatedly destroyed by the following perils.
1) Comic books in the 1950's
2) Rock and Roll in the 1960's
3) Disco in the 1970's (they may have been correct about that one)
4) Video games in the 1980's
5) Rap in the 1990's
6) and 2000's to present the internet!!!
Every time I think I can't get anymore disappointed with this administration something like this pops up. At least with the Cheney/Bush administration they couldn't disappoint me, only pleasantly surprise me. I'm not surprised that they never pleasantly surprised me.
