If I "consume" content over 'free' media (rabbit ears for TV, AM/FM Radio, Free version of Pandora, etc.) I expect to have to deal with commercials. The stations need some way to make money.
If I'm paying for a "Subscription" (Cable TV, Internet, Sirius/XM, Pandora, etc.) I expect an ad-free experience. I really hate it when I'm listening to certain XM channels and I get a commercial. I'm paying you so I don't have to listen to those.
So, when are we going to start going after Toyota for enabling ISIS to commit acts of terrorism? They're riding in Toyota vehicles in almost EVERY picture posted. When are we going to start going after the gun manufacturers for all the mass shootings that are going on? Aren't they enabling this by providing the guns? Are we going to go after car manufacturers and breweries/wineries/distilleries for all the DUI fatalities? If there were not cars or alcohol, then we wouldn't have any deaths caused by drunk/impaired driving.
Going after a hosting company for acts of it's subscribers makes about as much sense as the above statements.
ISP's can't even control the contractors THEY employ. I was down for 3 days (no TV, no internet) When I called, they said there was an outage reported in my area. That's pretty funny as I already checked with my neighbors in my complex and I'm the only one affected.
Finally got a tech show up -- took me 3 days to convince them to send someone out. Turns out, a CONTRACTOR disconnected the wrong connection when shutting off another unit. First words out of the tech's mouth when he comes back from the equipment box on the property, "Damn contractors." We both laughed and he had me up and running with a CLEANER signal in about 20 mins.
So yeah. The contractors they currently employ cause outages...
So, what about the spare tire compartment? Most cars no longer come with a spare tire, but the compartment is still there under the trunk. Is everyone a criminal now?
Yes. back in my Brig Chaser days for the Military, it was nice walking through an airport in full gear (radio, handcuffs, nightstick, badge), setting off the metal detector and just being waved through to go pick up a deserter.
The solution is to keep your business and all its assets in the freest country you can and tell the rest of the world its court orders can take a hike.
The Dandy Warhols should apply some "RIAA math" and turn around and give a "Bill" to Universal Music for any views that they would have had if the site was never taken down.

I still don't get why this is an issue. This is akin to me being forced to take my car to the dealership anytime I need maintenance on it. How are electronics any different? And don't tell me "Because it involves a computer" because most modern cars have one of those too...
The French are staring to use birds of prey specially trained to take out drones. China can do the same thing. Drones aren't cheap, and if there's a possibility of an eagle or hawk taking one out, they may not be a problem much longer.
