Well... everybody can make mistakes. I still rely on major newspapers and websites to provide me with facts. Blogs play a complimentary role by providing some facts (ignored by major houses), but I wouldn't rely on that.
Major News Providers: 90% fact (good accuracy) + 10% commentary (except in the case of FOX where it is 25:75).
Blogs: 5% fact (fair accuracy) + 95% commentary.
You get what you deserve (which roughly depends on how much did you pay for the product). Speaking English! Start producing something so that you can pay your own people to talk to you nicely. Until then you will have to depend on foreigners like me who actually produce somthing and provide you with cheaply priced services.
... and in specific to this study, the opposite can also be true. Some people have so much thirst for content that they don't have money to buy all the content they need, and therefore, have to resort to piracy.

Sometime commentaries posted on the major news websites are confused for facts and that is quite disturbing!! (Eg: http://egan.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/06/10/an-innocent-abroad/?scp=1&sq=foxy%20knoxy&st=cse ).

I am sick of seeing self-professed "experts" in the media. Fox/CNN everywhere!
IMHO Mike is an expert, but you shouldn't be criticizing somebody just because that person doesn't believe the same.

You would probably download it, listen to a song or two, and then forget about it.
FYI: I do think TPB verdict was unfair.
