I don't know what's going on these days but I'm pretty sure that all of this secret BULLSHIT will reap nothing good. It's pretty clear that this is not good where good counts.
The system of "authority" needs a peanut butter enema.
There's a problem with the rule of law as those who use the law to rule consistently and constantly better their hands and methodically apply those hands to "improve" their rule.
"Your DNA and a breathalyzer, please." ...? And that's not a police state how?
I'm pretty sure Mike hates it when maximalist copyright dreams threaten to become reality nightmares for the rest of us. Sort of like now but only worse.
If the theaters had any balls at all they would tell the MPAA to go hump a pony. Bringing the police, general audience disruptions, rewards (holy fuck), lawsuits and jail (holy triple pony assault) for something that the theater should be striving for anyway, a pleasant theater experience, is insane, no? Yes. Yes it is.
You guys are such pricks to EVERYONE that could possibly enjoy some entertainment, much less pay for some, that it is utterly astonishing that you continue to exist.
You tap the shit out of theaters and dictate what, where, when and for how long that it costs US 20.00 for a popcorn and a pepsi so they can pay rent. A theater employee could probably even lease a car if they had no other debts. Yeah, they're paid that well, you should probably pinch another 10% points off of THEIR work.
I hate saying this but ... your product deserves to be pillaged with reckless abandon. It needs to be wrested from your absolute control more than you could possibly IMAGINE. (Clearly you have no imaginations so that's no great leap I suppose.)
MPAA/RIAA et al must die and COPYRIGHT, if for no other reason than that, demands change. Now. That should probably be dealt with. It's clear that you don't like how it's being dealt with on the consumer side and the feeling appears to be mostly mutual.
And so:
We, the public, who are being savagely assaulted from all quarters, on all sides, by these (pause for effect) people (pause for slightly less effect) are right in the middle of the charge. These poeple, the middle men, whose principals lead the charge in the assault on the principles of democracy, liberty, freedoms, business, free markets, privacy, politics and justice... ladies and gentlemen, I give you Legacy Big Entertainment, Big Movies and Big Music (more pause) The Middle Men! (cheer loudly)
Versus (pause)
Team NSA! (The entire team. Back in line, DOJ. Cheeky servants.)
TONIGHT! (more pause) We bring to you a depiction of "The Inglorious Battle of Nevermore"! The first conflict in "The Great Battle of Thieves"! TONIGHT! (yet more pause) They fight! (cheer loudly, whistle, bang on things)
They fight! (absolutely no pausing here) To the DEATH! (cheer wildly, faint)
GLADIATORS! (pause solemnly) I SALUTE YOU! (silence, pick up smartphones and enable flashlight app, point smartphones at the sky, pause three seconds, switch smartphone app to video and record the field of battle, cheer wildly and appropriately, spittle a little, share)
I'm not sure I get it. Why is IP/Copyright being negotiated as part of a bundle in some big ass trade agreement. As we've clearly seen there are no trade barriers to media. Like, none, at all. At least not the real kind like oceans, mountains, armies and earth quakes negotiated for moving milk, medicines and mercedes.
I'll tell you what, if I was trying to get my bricks across the water and make some money I sure as fuck wouldn't want to be bundled up with these ass hats.
It's an insidious repertoire. They can't even fucking deliver their own goods so they feel like everyone should latch onto their sinking fucking vessel? Something's seriously wrong with this. Seriously.
I don't see critical mass here either. I see yet another asserted attempt at distorting reality. Copyright, as we currently know and love, is crumbling. Comfuckingpleatly. It's hilarious to watch, actually, or it would be if it weren't so bloody painful.
Control. Not only of the media but the medium as well. Thus those that partake of any of it are, likewise, controlled. It's a perfect plan, Pinky couldn't even mess it up. But he will, he will.
The same can be said of government in general inclusive of diplomacy, I think. I hope.
Something is afoot regardless. And it's not the spreading of democracy. That much seems pretty clear. A connected world is the threat. The question is how long can those that are threatened continue to hold the walls? Those walls that, really, only serve to contain the ignorant and willfully ignorant alike.
International trade agreement or international coercion and control directive? Boo hoo, the bottom feeding filth of IP enforcement in Wonderland have to wake up from their naps and spew accusations, defenses and posturing again. I hope you got some sleep, you're going to be awfully busy for a little while.
Hey? Did you even expand the categories you've listed here thus revealing actual membership? Well? Did you? I didn't think so. Moronic, thieving, disingenuous bastard.
Chilling effects? Hmmm.. You know what? I'd like to fucking fly again some day. I remember how it used to be to fly. I use to love fucking flying. I envy the people that can do it now without ending up in jail for kicking shit and punching people in complete disgust and contempt.
I use to like crossing borders too, before they became lawless and ruled by bands of thieves.
So many effects and so little time.
The authority aspect of my country has turned it into a right cunt. And I hope you're fucking offended.
TPP's next dick heads. I wonder what the specials are at the Corporate Sleight Cafe?.. NSA knows. And so does our fucking president. Fantastic leadership and transparency backed by top notch surveillance skills. -_-

It appears that the only thing that keeps the iron pipe of the executive branch off the side of my head is leaks.
Pick up your whistles, keep them on your person and blow when necessary.. blow hard. Pass it along.
What else is going on that we should know about? Somebody knows.
Lying, deceitful, treasonous, selfish bastards.
Along with Congress it seems that there are several hundred million other people that should not cede their authority either.
