Be it confirmed, all states will transfer the practice of marriage verification to the practice of civil union verification.
Such a requirement should be unconstitutional, but unfortunately the courts would probably allow an argument that civil unions are an interstate commerce concern somehow. Everything else seems to be.
To say there are "few" people to benefit from Starlink is pretty narrow-minded.
No, it's factual.
"Between 20 and 42 million Americans lack access to broadband entirely... In turn, Starlink is going to reach somewhere between 300,000 to 800,000 subscribers in its first few years."
So that could maybe solve 4% of one portion of the problem, and that's only considering the US. Like you said, there are millions upon millions of people who could do with better (or some) broadband, and Starlink is going to serve a very tiny slice of them.
That anyone wants to such a term applied to them is saddening.
But why gay people in particular? You still haven't explained that. You didn't say marriage is ludicrous. You said atheist marriage is, which makes sense if you define marriage strictly as a religious ceremony (which I won't get into). And you said gay marriage is also ludicrous. Why?
You fail to recognise how CSAM such as bathroom peep cams are made.
You're saying a man puts on a dress and goes into a women's restroom to plant a camera? 1) got a reference for how often this happens? and 2) your solution to this is to have everyone just crap in public with just anyone watching? You're insane if you think that is ever going to happen.
No, it can't help 3 billion people: "the service may be able to scale to 6 million users over a period of many years, he also notes that guess is extremely optimistic, and will require a significantly updated fleet of 42,000 satellites to achieve."
Unless they're planning to launch and maintain a fleet of 20 million satellites. I haven't heard of any such plans.
Point to point data communication between a ground station and a satellite constellation whose ground station is at a Google data center is less subject to interruptions due to weather, system equipment failure, cable breakages, local power outages, than ANY terrestrial system.
Letting a man in a dress, as I’ve brought up multiple times, sit in a stall in a “woman’s” toilet is asking for trouble in our repressive culture.
Also this needs to be called out for the anti-trans rhetoric it is. The call to switch to unisex restrooms is great, and I completely agree. What is not great is 1) calling trans women "men in dresses" and 2) suggesting that there is something wrong with a trans woman going into a stall in a women's restroom, closing the door, and doing her business. Regardless of how repressive and messed up our culture is, nobody needs to know what is under her dress. At least you're not calling for her to use the men's room.
It's going to be harder to find data now that gay marriage is so widely accepted, but my memory is that those opposed to gay marriage were generally much more accepting of gay civil unions. Obviously some were still opposed to gay anything, but I don't think that was even a majority, at least in the past 10 or 20 years.
They appear to be, at worst, top three in customer satisfaction and customer service specifically, your individual bad experience notwithstanding (anecdote vs data, etc).
40% seems a ridiculously high response rate for a service that is more expensive and worse than the landline internet in many big cities. I wonder if the self selected group of people familiar with Starlink means the Elonheads are overrepresented.

Considering gay marriage is legal everywhere in the US, it's difficult to see what the problem is at this point.

Not if a bunch of people in cities are excited about signing up for it for some reason.

The fact that you, personally, are one of the (few) people benefiting from Starlink does change anything about the factual points in the article.
