The market is already responding to people angry about the bias the Media is hell bent on pretending doesn't exist. It honestly doesn't matter if the Media chooses self delusion in denying they've become a tool for one political party. The users are taking care of it by leaving the biased platforms in droves, and the platforms are quietly undoing the machinations they set up for a political party. These kinds of problems are auto-correcting as we get sick of the 1 percenters trying to control public opinion and start ignoring them.
Remember that time the um, contracted professional *cough* hired to secure the private Microsoft Windows Server (cough) being used for email for a certain candidate actually asked on a Subreddit for help securing his email server, and got tricked into posting the private key for it? I do. Wanna see it?
A lot of these questions can be answered by simply asking how the hell Imran Awan got hired, and how he kept his job for so long. When you can figure out how that was even possible, you'll figure out why the state is so terrible at security.
Warren Buffet buys a whole bunch of Apple Stock. Waits a day, tells the world to buy Apple Stock. Now, if you and I did that we'd go to jail. But you and I aren't Warren Buffet. So Buffet has his media empire trash Google and coddle Apple for months now, despite Apple's failure in the smartphone market, falling to third place. Better, Xiaomi and the BBK collective (OnePlus,Oppo,Vivo) are nipping at their heels. There's every indication Apple will fall to 5th or 6th by this time next year. And that's going to be glorious. You are going to see a tech media contort themselves into knots trying to pretend Apple is doing ok, and it doesn't matter. Like they are trying to pretend Apple shedding market share doesn't matter, or that they are trying to sell a 250 dollar phone for 750 dollars and it's not going well.
People forget how Google basically was Elon Musk before Elon Musk. They used to do all kinds of awesome things. But then they started getting punished for their kindness and success. Now the establishment is attacking Elon. People don't keep doing nice things for you if you kick them in the teeth a few times.
Point: They blatantly stole from everyone. Worse, they emboldened others to do the same. They did. Did they make it their own? Surely.
Counterpoint(if weak): They were literally all gristled session musicians. Hired guns. The kind of people that play for Patti LaBelle when she's in town but don't get their name on the album. They were used to playing other people's music. You put a bunch of those guys together in a band, surprise, they keep playing other people's music for a while.
Bias is bias. Like sunlight is sunlight. It doesn't matter why the bias is there. You can't explain it away. It just matters that it is. And you can demonstrate it. And like this story does, you can describe the bias with an Appeal to Popularity logical fallacy. But it's still bias.
I love how the "google bros" attack you instantly with "explanations" for their obvious bias when you point it out.

LOL, I'm sorry. I mean just go to news.google.com as a new non-registered Google user. and see the Washington Post, New York Times, CNN, and the literally 50,000 media repeaters pretending to be legitimate news sources that just parrot those three news feeds that Google, with no sense of irony, forces you to block if you want to get completely rid of those three news sources. I've blocked over 5,000 of these fake Google generated news repeaters and I still get stories from WaPo.
Open up an incognito browser window. If you are crazy suspicious, use firefox. If you are even more suspicious, connect to a VPN based in America.
Go to news.google.com
Now, you tell me how unbiased Google is. Because you are going to see a wall of:
Washington Post CNN New York Times
And the 50,000 media repeaters that just repeat them constantly.
Extra Credit: create a fake profile with your anonymous VPN IP address. Make a gmail account. Go back to Google news. Leverage their "block news source" option.
Marvel as every Washington Post, CNN, or New York Times article you should have made go *poof* by blocking those three sources comes back IMMEDIATELY through media repeaters.
Like they WANT TO MADE DAMN SURE you get those viewpoint in your head. The ones Google wants. The ones their corporate customers pay for.

That's Stonetear. We now know that was Paul Combetta. How was he ever hired? How did he keep his job so long?

You're lack of understanding of cookie and VPN technology does not translate into an actual argument.
Your attempt here to create Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt, because you had no actual argument just failed.
