Pay senators/reps enough and you get whatever laws you want. We have the best government money can buy. Short of getting the govt to legalize what's now a felony, they can get what they want with enough money. Every government official has their price.
convicted sex offenders working the cameras finding kids to molest/kill. Then just picture the lawsuit against the town for hiring a convicted sex offender who murdered several kids in town using info he collected from watching the spy cameras. Then the newspaper would get an exclusive on the story since they paid for the system. I wouldn't go near Lancaster; I'm afraid I would get arrested for sneezing in public.
Since the **AA took over the DOJ, the people are the enemy. Business is the friend. The DOJ has totally moved to the side of **AA, since the bribes from the election got the **AA lawyers in to take over. Soon the DOJ will stop paying attention to such things as drugs and focus on terrorism as defined in people downloading music. Terrorists blowing up things is no longer their concern. Transferring weapons is no longer an issue, it's transferring illicit music that's the problem! Judicial branch is also open to bribes, so don't think the judicial will help.
red light cameras are all about making money on tickets, they have nothing to do with safety. If it was connected with safety, why would they shorten the yellow lights, which makes accidents more likely? they just see it as money, not safety. It's not about the cops, it's about the government that puts up the cameras.
Your 6 year old runs out of the bathoom into the living room and they see it and send you ads for Pampers. Or maybe they will resell the images, even better, then you could charge them with distributing kiddie porn and send the cable execs to jail for 50 years.
The FCC is very responsive to bribes, just like the rest of the government. Any branch of the government can be bribed with the right incentives. It's just a question of how blatantly illegal/improper the government is willing to be for bribes.
is not interested in healing or helping people; they are interested in making money. They would much rather make 100 million helping 100,000 people than making 20 million and saving lives for 500,000.
Next we can copyright specific walking techniques and require everyone to pay royalties. Someone should copyright something like this just to show how stupid it's become.
The way to get laws passed is to bribe elected officials. It's the most reliable way to screw taxpayers. The government allows these laws to get passed, then complains about the high cost of prescriptions for medicare patients.
Money always talks. It's not a question of which political party. Bribes get laws.

I don't think so. There is a definite time limit.
Patents arent perpetual either. Take a look at some of the laws about it.
