The post office isn't going to start to be fixed until they stop being expected to fully fund the pensions of employees that haven't even been born yet.

It's 'marxist' for people who never matured any further after hitting the age of 13 and have built their worldview around 4Chan posts and Sargon of Akkad videos.
When I was little, I used to think his name was spelled Evil Kinevil, three decades and several wild swing and a miss copyright trolling suits later, I'm thinking maybe I was right the first time.
Re: How to banish friends while supposedly influencing people
Is there a quicker way to stop people taking you seriously than using the term 'SJW' to describe people you disagree with? It's certainly up there with 'As a libertarian, I think...', 'The free market will...' and 'the marketplace of ideas'.
Boris Johnson hid in a fridge to avoid questions so this should come as a surprise to nobody. Unfortunately conservatives control the majority of the press in the UK so nobody will probably notice there's an embargo on any outlet that will ask difficult questions, not while Phillip Schofield and co will give them softball interviews and pose for selfies.
And whoever follows Trump is now going to have to deal with China forcing American companies to sell their interests their to Chinese companies, all because Donald was humiliated by K-Pop teenagers.
He's a Republican, he's not in office to help, he's in office to do the bidding of his donors and to be seen trying to hurt people who don't vote for him to placate the elderly racists who do.
'If people can repair their own property, predators will be able to repair their beat up white panel vans and kidnap children! WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!?'
Sex abuse stories get eyes on screen, unfortunately, doesn't matter how true they are, they're the one issue everyone is outraged about and a story about a ring us clickbait gold. This is why it's used to sell QAnon to the old and the foolish, why minorities are ALWAYS a threat to children according to the right.
'Hey, society as a whole hates the message we're preaching, maybe we should do something about it.' 'So we're going to cut out the xenophobia, racism, misogyny, homophobia and billionaire bootlicking?' 'Oh heck no, that's 99% of the party platform! We'll just change the laws to make it easier for right wing spambots and make it illegal for anyone to tell a conservative to shut up. That'll show those snowflakes.'
I remember when the free market looked at smoking killing people and dealt with it without the need for regulation, likewise asbestos and tetra-ethyl lead. Industry is knocking it out the park when it comes to regulating themselves on pollution and climate change, something they saw was a problem in the sixties and dealt with immediately by building taller oilrigs to deal with rising sea levels and attacking science. Problem solved! No regulation necessary, yep.
Conservative cancel culture at it's finest. For all the wailing about the left and society as a whole shunning conservatives who say and do crappy things, they sure do love trying to use the weight of government to inflict their will and crush anyone and anything that hurts their feelings. Maybe something could be done about the thinness of their skin if there was universal healthcare.
If he wins re-election we'll see journalists who report on leaks start to get arrested, disappeared to dark military run holes while the crazed 'Mah Freedum!', 'Cancel culture!' and 'Free speech!' loons on the right cheer, caring not one jot about their fellow Americans or the freedoms they're giving up for spite.
Americans are getting a taste of the governance they inflicted on south and central America and the Caribbean for most of the twentieth century, right down to the supporting of far right murderers and militias. Americans have happily backed, trained, even actively participated in this sort of thing for the longest time, the only thing that's changed is the venue.
Corporations now being people means that conservatives can punish the ones that disagree with them the way they have the left for much of the twentieth century. Congratulations guys, you're subject to the whims of whining hypocrites, just like the rest of us! Welcome to personhood!
