I'm not surprised that said celebrities go after the hacker guy, although he damaged only their self-respect so far (no credit card abuse etc)-
What I'm surprised at is that not one said celebrities are mad and suing apple for knowingly leaving such a gaping security hole in their system.
But to sue a search engine.. that's baffling. Ridiculous. Shows plainly the clueless witch-hunt this leak is becoming, while the real culprits escape scrutiny.
While I agree with you, I'm still pissed about google shoveling down g+ on everyone's throat. This bias is just another attemp to force a product no one really want, but google would benefit from greatly.
The real problem here as I see it: - Everyone is outraged about the hacking and "violating" these women. - No one is concerned about the fuckin' vulnerability the "hacker" used - namely no protection against brute-force attacks - that apple knew about and choose to do nothing.
I'm glad in some way this happened, because if some poor chap did the right thing and reported this with proof, he'd be in prison now, and apple would not got the publicity it deserved.
Remember, embarrassing pictures are the least valuable commodity you can stole. It could be bank account details. Contact lists, blackmail material, etc.
Take this idea to certain shady parts of the interwe/b/s, and a lot of script kiddies could redeem themselves by disappearing much of hollywood's content from the internet
1. Crowsource the list of people in charge of the corruption. 2. Crowdfund hitmen. 3. Rebuild the system without the "ultrarich" element present. 4. Profit!
Any serious deployment would be preceded by a lengthy public beta testing phase, where the source code would be published and said black hats would be rewarded lavishly for every found and reported security flaw in the system.
This is, of course, not the case with cronies producing low quality software for outrageous prices.

"That's it. Fortunately Israel have better economy and many educated and motivated people to build enough weapons to teach those scums a lesson"
You mean like 3B$ US support economy? Or the US manufactured F16? Nuclear weapons "supplied" by the US?
You have a big mouth and big pride, but the fact is, Israel would not exist without US and european support. Israel would not have came to be, and would be obliterated in a minute without western countries supporting your aggression.
By my logic, you over exaggerate the threat Hamas rockets (ha! tubes stuffed with kerosene, with a hand grenade strapped on the top) pose in order to justify excessive military response, genocide and strikes on civilian targets.
Ask them yourself. I doubt they were so pleased by european invaders, and highly doubt they were called terrorists for defending their home (with arrows and bows against guns, much like the hamas-israel situation).
Sure, sweep every damning evidence under the rug! At your convenience Sir!
Sure it is an oversimplification, but a good one in this case. No. You conveniently leave out all the reprehensible things Israel does to Palestine (like: occupying, dividing, constantly harassing military, spying, blackmailing, bullying). This is not simplification. This is lying.
I do not care if there is or is not a west bank or gaza strip. Apparently you're the only one in this situation. Let's see a counter example. Mexico is pushing northward into texas. How many texans would not care about that simple fact, when it comes to resistance?
The problem is the terrorists that hide behind the little kids like meat shields. The real problem is that you believe this bullcrap israeli propaganda. Also, conveniently naming them terrorists. They are as much terrorists as scotts were when they fought against england's occupation.
Israel will not saw my head off for not believing like them No. They'll just ruin your life, blackmail you until you betray your people, kill you by drones, artillery or airstrikes. Much more civilized.
There is not a single peaceful Muslim nation on this planet Show me a single peaceful jewish nation.
I feel no remorse for people that do not resist evil So we're now judging them on our moral basics. Who are you to condemn them on your moral code, when you (probably) do not share customs, environment or even religion? What makes you think that your moral code is The Right One?
I see the Israeli PR unit found his way here too. Keep up the good work, maybe you'll convince yourself that the israeli occupation is soooooo good for the palestinians.
It's educating to see how the "biggest victims" (israelis) and enemies (US) of the nazi germany turn into the exact same state they fought.

So far Putin is the only world leader who openly and spectacularly give zero fucks about the us whining and bullying. Kudos for that (if not for other things).
A license where I give you money for your product, but then I get to say where and on what can you spend it.
And if I don't like you lobbying on some anti-consumer stuff, I can send a cease-and-desist letter for spending my money (that you licensed from me) on greasy palmed politicians.
These so called FTAs with the US sound less and less about "Trade" and "Agreement", and more and more about "Corporate monopolies" and "Coercion".
Just step back for a minute and look at the ridiculous insanity the US propagate: - You can not use a fuckin' seed as it is, because some greedy company decided that the sequence of chemicals in it is their property. - They don't provide any safeguards that it won't spread, but claim that any crop it infects is their property.
According to the law, the breeder's right extends to "varieties essentially derived from the protected variety." In this sense, a hybrid produced from a protected variety crossed with an unprotected variety would automatically belong to the breeder of the patented variety.
It would be interesting to cross two "patented variety" and see the two "breeder" fight to death over the result.
At the beginning, the SWAT team does the usual cop thing of everyone yelling at the same time because that apparently works better than having a point person designated to deliver concise, well-enunciated instructions. (Note: it does work better than other situations where officers have yelled contradictory instructions over each other ["Stand up!! Lay on the ground!!].) Bonus points for swearing because no one takes guys with assault rifles and Kevlar vests seriously unless they use variations of the word "fuck."
The point is to dominate the room the instant they enter. One person asking you to please stand up (from the chair) and lay down on the ground is (they're not contradictory orders, you just have to execute them sequentially) is much less overpowering than 5 guys yelling and swearing at you.
Looking through the guy's phone is only logical, to see if he made any calls or whatever relating to the hypothetic bombing/hostage situation.
You can rightfully criticize the turning off of the stream, but the rest is pretty much as it should be.
