One vendor I know personally went berserk that people were reselling his pet care product on eBay, and threatened lawsuits all around - when in actuality, his product was made by SOMEONE ELSE. He bought it wholesale, repackaged it, and sold it at triple the manufacturers price.
I, also, am a great believer in "none of the above." We haven't had a vote-able candidate in decades; let's make the parties offer different choices until one IS viable. Having the office vacant through years of failed elections may teach us if we actually NEED anyone in there making trouble...
IMHO, we don't know anything at all about the events and circumstances in this case - because we have only the police's word for them. It's gotten that bad.
It's actually much worse than that. The property doesn't have to be involved in any criminal activity. The LEO's only have to claim they think it "might have been."
I didn't think it was possible for me to care less about the Olympics... but now I see I was wrong. Let's ignore the IOC and USOC - literally. Don't answer their calls, return their letters unopened. Go run and swim and play somewhere else. Call it the Orympics.
Of course, whoever organizes THAT will eventually become evil and corrupt, but we'll have a respit for a few years.
Good luck getting a bank to reverse an incorrect debit beyond 30 days, let along two years. I mean, you know Comcast is gonna stall, but they kind of overdid it.
Aside from the work for hire aspect, this "artwork" has the unique quality of becoming part of an individual's body. How can a third party be allowed to hold any control over when and if that person's body is viewed or depicted?
