"He can be both a success and the poster boy for new ways of earning in the music scene if he DOESN'T abuse other workers in the industry by taking their product against their wishes and when he doesn't need it."
OR: He can be the poster boy for new ways of earning in the music scene, AND have as many flaws that he wants.
I like that version more. I have decided it is the right one. You need to update yours to fit it. It is in my book, after all. If your book is different, then your book sucks.
I wasn't a big fan of Dollhouse. The premise was good but too many episodes were like "ok, today we're going to wipe your mind and turn you into a middle manager for a toothbrush company!". Cue to 30 minutes of Echo pressing the next slide button of a Powerpoint presentation full of pie charts.
"Sharing is not, and never has been, taking something against another person's wishes."
It's a good thing then that when someone shares a file with me, I don't take it against their wishes, as they're freely offered to me.
Likewise, if I put files I legally obtained on BitTorrent, I'm giving my consent for others to "take" them from me. Everybody wins! Everyone who is actually involved, obviously.

HUNDREDS of lines per week? Wow, that's almost like DOZENS of lines per day! I can only write like a COUPLE lines a day, and I can't even chew bubblegum at the same time!
Sheesh, you come off like such a whiny little girl.
Why do you hate freedom, civil liberties and the American pie? Why do you hate that people are free to copy what they like? Why do you hate culture? Why do you hate sharing? Children are taught to share. Why do you hate children?
Why are you so terrified of not making an easy buck that you are perfectly happy with sending people to jail or ruining them for life for doing something that comes so naturally to the human psyche, such as sharing culture with others?
Why are you so intent in painting the opposition in the worst possible light, because you aren't able to figure out how to make money like the rest of us honest folks who work a regular day job?
Why do you insist that you must be paid for some noises that you make on a piece of shiny plastic disc even if nobody likes it or if it's stupidly overpriced?
Interesting, if I liked the pizza from the pizza parlor and go home and make an identical pizza, I'm a thief, according to your analogy, because I'm getting "free pizza".
I understand the concerns of the Movie Industry. If the sky is rising, it just means it'll hurt more when it falls on our heads! We must help them keep the sky at a reasonable non-lethal distance.

So what you're saying is that children shouldn't share toys against the wishes of the toy manufacturer? Weird little word you live in.
