Anna Eskamani–if her voting record is anything like her rhetoric–is exactly the kind of stateswoman I'd want to represent me and my interests (or rather, the interests of her constituency) in the State Capitol if I were a Floridian. I'm really happy she called out the clownish behavior of her Republican colleagues because My sister lives in Miami and from what I gather, Floridians need a lot more help than what the state legislature has been offering…
Of course, one doesn't just have to play games on a gaming PC; I also use mine for making more of my chiptune music (and I use my mac to master it if I don't outsource it).
In the mean time, the lesson is as always - DRM only affects legal paying customers. Pirates are still playing the game uninterrupted. So, why not just be a pirate next time?
I’m no pirate, but if you want to know whyI do my PC game shopping mainly from itch.io and GOG, this is one reason why.
It's true that they can legally moderate (pretty much) however they want.
Yet both Democratic and Republican lawmakers (not named Ron Wyden and Zoe Lofgren (Chris Cox is no longer a legislator which is why I excluded him)) have a problem with this.
The saddest part is there's no real question how this happened; those 70 million have been failed by a system of education unable to provide a nation even full literacy.
It's not that simple. Though this is purely anecdotal, take local nuisance tp here, who is Finnish. Finland has the absolute opposite education system than the US's in terms of quality (and how much they value teachers, for that matter), yet tp couldn't make a cogent argument worth a damn.
My point is this: blaming the US's woes on education is only part of the issue; it's not the whole story.
"theres a limited range of notes and chords that can be used in pop music."
Any music. I'm no expert but I believe that the number of combinations that are catchy and memorable vs. the ones that are nightmarishly discordant are quite ow.
Not "any music"; Arabic music goes within the 12 notes and into the microtones.
You should get in touch with all the stores out there offering free samples because either they know something you don't or you managed to stumble upon a secret that they've been missing for decades.
Not to mention Epic Games, who lets people play Fortnite for free and give away games on their store for free.

I think what you mean is that NPR posted the Declaration of Independence and the Trumpers thought it was about their tyrant instead of the ones George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, et al. were rebelling against.

I have a hunch…
That Anna Eskamani is a Floridian, and not a Florida Woman. 😉

Simple solution:
Just strip the DRM and put it on GOG (or release it by themselves on a website sans DRM. Whichever.).
I'm not a regular Ubisoft customer for the reason that their games don't appeal to me. Now I can add that they disrespect their customers as well.
Say what you will about Nintendo hating you, at least the Super Smash Bros. Melee you bought 20 years ago will still work on a Gamecube or Wii.

Re: algorithms and this is their business
The only reason why takedowns of let's play streamers isn't a common thing is because the relationship between streamer and video game company is mutually beneficial: video game company gets free advertising and exposure (both of which lead to sales in the video game business), streamer gets money via ads and/or endorsement deals. That being said, © means that the video game company can nix deal at any time.
