How about we let everyone else make their own decisions based upon what is being presented by the group and what they feel is 'right' in the case of jury nullification?

Recent court decisions have upheld the rights of individuals seeking exemptions from immunizations based upon personal and religious reasons. On the U.S. Supreme Court level in Frazee V. Illinois Dept. of Security, 489 U.S. 829, it was found that a state may not deny an exemption simply because a person is not a member of a formal religious organization.

Err... The Superbowl was on broadcast television, so we didn't have to pay any monetary amount to actually watch it. Also, take the choice between a professionally-shot broadcast or something off someone's crappy little phone in the middle of a screaming mob without commentary, and which would people choose? Not a copyright issue.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Could invoke a law change
Complaining about the system, stepping up and discussing it openly, is the first step to changing the system. What you are telling us is that we shouldn't discuss it, we should change it, but to do one without the other is to avoid any coherency or direction in the changes.

Yeah, umm... Try reading it, sometime. It's taxes on things like soda and sugary beverages. Things that are already taxed in Ohio, where I live. The taxes are 'supposedly' meant to push people away from consuming such things, but really are about lining the coffers. These sorts of 'sin taxes' never really do what they say they will in the majority.
And yet if you look through TD, you will find a lot of stories revolving around artists who might have used a /similar/ bit of music in their own compositions being sued by other musicians who are screaming about copyright. This article is just being used to highlight how incredibly stupid and shortsighted that sort of thing really is.
Yeah, I'm sort of agreeing and disagreeing at the same time. I'm not convinced that 'remix' was used properly in this article.
How would this help anyone but the healthy? Seriously. Do you realize how much dialysis, alone costs? Even the very wealthy would have issues paying for it. The result isn't lowered costs and healthier people, it's more funerals.
But you've been saying repeatedly that they're using CIVIL rules, not CRIMINAL, which means that they shouldn't even be involved as it isn't a CRIMINAL issue. And here you are, again, saying that it's CRIMINAL.
Which is it? Pick a path and stick to it. This is why we are all calling bullshit on you so much. You mix these things so much just to be confusing.
From here out, I call you a liar. Criminal or civil. Choose. ICE has no jurisdiction in civil matters.
It must be a pretty damned important piece of gutter trash blog for you to continuously post on it as you (allegedly) do. What is Mike pointing out that has you so scared?
"And everyone knows it, as it's on display here every day."
Keep on repeating that, and maybe someday it might approach truth. For now, it's just you pissing in the wind. Congrats, you just wet yourself with your pants down.
Sharing his internet connection only impacts his connection, not others using the service. They all have their own bandwidth and performance concerns, for which they pay. If he wants to slow his own connection, that's his business.
Never had a cable operator ask me how many TVs I had in the house. Just how many I wanted them to install to. Any further installs were then my problem.
We don't 'tag and release' suspects. We detain them. Or we deport them. You can't be so stupid as to think we all actually believe your side of this, either, can you?
Remember folks, there are (at least) three sides to every story, and only one of those is 'The Truth.'
