Why should they do the right thing for their customers when they will later need to collabarate with other people in the industry against their customers?
Sounds like a reason to dust off some ol' anti-trust laws to me. Or, you know, do the right thing.

No, reasonable people can disagree. And just because I agree with someone on a position, does not mean that I agree with them on every position.
Really, who thinks like that? That's pure intellectual sloppiness. John Nash was a pretty fucked up dude, but that doesn't make his work any less valid. He still had and created an insight. I don't have to have paranoid schizophrenia to understand what he showed us.
You are either completely insane yourself in that you cannot see this, or you are being paid. I hope you are enjoying the trappings of your success. The rest of us look down upon you for it.
I do not find the movie going experience to be particularly pleasant any more, nor do I find that it has value commensurate with the cost.
I wish that this were not the case. I like movies. My wife likes movies. The rest of my extended family likes movies. But it is just not worth the hassle.
This has nothing to do with piracy. If the theaters are finding themselves with fewer customers, they have no one to blame but themselves.
What makes this especially egregious is that the laws that were broken were SPECIFICALLY designed to protect the public against EXACTLY this sort of crime, as a result of similar actions by the government in years past.
It was written to give companies that handled this information legal cover to tell the government to go pound sand, and yet they all rolled over like lap dogs.
Be cause UMG could have possibly, maybe, could have lost some money that is much, much smaller than they are claiming it is.
The cost to the industry is minuscule, less than other industries comparable losses to things like 'weather' or 'shrinkage', which are also small enough to be managed as a cost of doing business.
It is completely and utterly ridiculous that they are allowed to hold our nation and out economy up like this for their own gains.

Try to be more sensitive.

And it was only $50 per candidate. One of whom I think that I'd be more than happen to donate real time to, but we're on different coasts.

Karen K
Although, probably just as bad as Goodlatte's.
This is a tough nut to crack. Going to have to sleep on it.
