Re: Re: Re: Link to DailyShow had ad beforehand blaming DirectTV
Well the ad spot is also on Hulu and on the old fashioned radio. I imagine they had to pay for the radio ad spot at least.
I wouldn't know if it's on TV.
Re: Link to DailyShow had ad beforehand blaming DirectTV
I wonder just how much the difference is between the extra money they wanted for the deal they refused and how much they pumped into the DirecTV smear campaign they're running.
It's on Hulu right now. Get it while it lasts. http://www.hulu.com/watch/381148
You can skip to 10min in for the DirecTV part.
Just watch out for the 'DIRECTV IS THE DEVIL' commercials.
Unrelated to the story BUT related to copyright extremism...
Anyone notice that Viacom is spending an awful lot of money on advertisements to smear DirecTV for not taking a more expensive deal?
If you raise a valid point or bring something new to the discussion then he might respond to you. However, every single thing the copyright cartel has said has already been addressed and proven false. Repeating it doesn't make it any more true.
Dear MPAA,
No matter what laws you pass, no matter what police force you raise, no matter how many success stories you publish, no matter how many times you cry foul, no matter how much you kick and scream, piracy will exist to make up for your shortcomings.
You could pass a law enabling public execution of pirates and people will still continue to pirate.
As long as you keep trying to treat the symptoms, the problem will continue and spread.
This is not a war you can win by passing laws or demonizing pirates. The sooner you shut up and realize this, the sooner you will have the biggest impact on piracy.
"And yet Morrison claims that it's 90 to 98% infringing daily?"
When you continuously expand the definition of 'infringing', then of course you're going to see the numbers of infringement go up.
