  I do know the difference, but I appreciate the call-out :) doesn’t really detract from my point that I still don’t know that CBP is Customs and Border Protection without looking it up separately.
  Apologies if it came across as snarky; it’s a pet peeve.

  This article references “CBP” 44 times and yet does not define what that stands for anywhere. It does state what it is in the attached document, which I cannot see on a mobile device because the viewer (hilariously) doesn’t support horizontal scrolling and the first word is too far right. I would assume that the “C” stands for “Carnival Border Protection” but …
  Journalistic standards generally dictate that one is supposed to fully state an acronym before using it e.g. Canadian Border Protection (CBP) and only then can one use it again without defining it.
