Of course video games are an art form, and I find it interesting that the large (money grubbing) companies completely fail to recognise the dedication of the fans of these older games.
Fortunately there will always be the so called "pirates" who will continue to make these games available after they are no longer "officially supported"
Watchamightcallit is something my mother used to say when I was a small child (circa late 1950s).
Here in the UK no one had even heard of hershey.. and even now they have scant popularity.
How dare they even attempt to capitalise what is a generic term.
But even more serious is the fact that there marketing division thinks that the average person cannot tell the difference between beer and chocolate.
Time for a major management review guys
You need to seriously take control of these idiots that are causing major damage to your business
I am not from America so while I commend the American baseball MLB thing for their efforts, at the end of the day Baseball, like American football is not a particularly popular global game
While it may develop a passing interest, I doubt it will make any inroads into the already well established online gaming community
It's a video game, and one I got bored with years ago, but why attempt to cheat to get, at the end of the day, a record that is of minor interest and devalued further by these allegations of cheating?
Just give me a minute to work this out.
They come up with a plan that allows dedicated movie goers to pay a fixed $30 a month to do what they always wanted to do, which was to watch movies in one of their venues and they start complaining?
What were they going to do.. announce that there are too many movie fans in this cinema, so we will not be screening this movie?
This is so sad I may not always have agreed with his opinions, but I will miss the discussions that these prompted. My condolences go out to his family/div>
I couldn't agree with you more. Complete waste of time and resources that could be better spent elsewhere.
And should it be that the money monkeys feel that there could be larger profits available in the "middle east" then they are on a serious loser. By all means play your little boy games of football/soccer. Most of the world is not actually interested in your less than amusing pastime.
Duh.. Let's be fair, several areas of the American "creative industry" are notorious drug abusers What we have here is a large consumer market that does not want to upset a major "undercover" sponsor. So let's get it clear corporate America....
You are as corrupt as F**Cxk and we (the rest of the world) all hate you for it./div>
"I could go on but I do not think anybody really cares anymore."
An interesting point of view.
May I point out that I and many others openly take action against these scumbags.
While I am sure that they are making every effort to collect any scrap of personal they can find on me , I make sure that that information is hilariously bogus/div>
So you keep all your passwords the same.. constantly? You regard changing a password as "punishment"?
But aside from that do you not consider it odd that this situation occurs at the same time that Techdirt finds itself involved in legal proceedings initiated by a well known scumbag?/div>
You say "Now I have suggested better alternatives for financial models" I ask: Better? Where? and proof of this concept?
Seriously from some one that actually posts here and says
"I don't think TechDirt matters that much."
Sadly, you are so far out of touch with the popular consensus that I think you really should stop spouting this ill educated nonsense and go back to reading you obscure fantasy novels/div>
It seems that the salaries in the top echelon of the Red Cross are now matching corporate level status and attracting the idiots that think that "the brand" must be protected no matter what the cost. I still donate, but I expect the money to go to the needy. I may have to have a rethink as I see no need to fund shyster "lawyers" bringing absurd lawsuits./div>

Oh that is so unfair.
/div>You Americans now have Joe Biden.. the absolute pinnacle of American values, technological literacy and international issues
Re: Sally Ness
You're highly verbose response only reinforces your obvious lack of respect of a persons human rights.
Point out to me where the muslim faith (despite you quoting it relentlessly) supports human rights, womens rights, gay rights, religious freedom!

And your point is ?

Wow!
While being known as quite dissolute type, I am well aware of bar rooms and the spice of devilry.
But I am not (as apparently the writer is!) aware of what the odor of a brothel is.
Nothing really changes when it comes to our so called "ruling class"/div>

As Secretary of State, she has worked to educate voters.
Educate voters?
Excuse me, but when I vote I do it of my own volition, it's my choice.
I do not require any "education".
But thanks for the offer/div>
