Seems like the only way that the government would listen to us is if citizens bombed the corporations and voted those leaders out of office. Or perhaps the only way governments would listen to ppl is a full on coup de etat./div>
Hah Tatsuo Tanaka has proved them wrong! Anime DVD sales rise for every 1% of piracy. Since he is the director of the Mitsubishi firm by publishing these facts online he is committing an open act of defiance against the multinational corporations who try to exaggerate their losses./div>
Yes but big businesses and right wing creators are embarrassed to express their reasons why. Besides people pirate because not all popular movies make it internationally./div>
Seriously instead of making a new "ACTA" he should just introduce a treaty where copyright is more lenient because copyright laws are written in the sixteenth century context. Hence this does not allow the Internet to reach its' maximum potential. Besides there is no way to stop piracy, after all Shakespeare pirated other people's ideas in his own plays. As a result, he reveals to readers that piracy cannot stop it will just keep on going.
As governments receive more powers they can abuse citizen's data. As a result Martin should introduce a treaty that preserves the privacy of netizens. Besides his focus should be focusing on TPP not ACTA since TPP is way worse than ACTA. The ambiguous wording behind TPP will enable democracies to become absolute dictators. Hence hired thugs will abuse all power and allow for fabricated piracy cases to win favor from corporations. As a result, there is no need for another data burning and a third Holocaust like event. Corporations and creators do not treat us like online-Jews, otherwise shrapnel will fly on peaceful city blocks. Megaupload and Kim Dotcom sacrificed their website in the hopes that someday that the Internet liberation will occur. For this reason, MPAA and other similar groups must stop degrading Internet users and leave us alone!/div>
Everyone who cares about their Internet, please vote for your nation's Pirate Parties to lead America and Canada and show those MPAA peeps that their right-wing policies will die out!/div>
Nope there is still that June 2012, now that ACTA is pending final vote lets take care of TPP shall we? Oh yes to you Americans vote those SOPA and ACTA politicians out of office for me. I live outside US soil so I am relying on you Americans to do it for me. To Canadians reading this comment now, please also do the same, fight C-11 and C-30 or else our kids cannot pursue long-distance education./div>
Can you clarify your last statement there? Are you saying that USA and those cartels are acting like thugs to the other TPP and ACTA signatories? And yes I have the same concerns as you, I am afraid that MPAA is going to scapegoat whole countries for not signing ACTA and treating innocent citizens like criminals. Such right wing tactics from MPAA and USA these days./div>
The fight is not over yet, we must get Japan, America, and Canada to reverse their ratification of the treaty! Rise Internet Strong fight against all tyranny that threaten to take away our Internet! Combat for the complete annihilation of ACTA, TPP, CISPA, Bill C-11, Bill C-30, and other bills that try to harm global Internet usage by criminalizing innocent citizens./div>

There is evidence to refute these bogus stats
