If I was a conspiracy theory nut, I would say that the movie industry is actually bankrolling these type of programs. They figure people are going to find a way to copy discs no matter what they do so why not get some cash by getting them to pay yearly subscriptions.
I don't think he is going to be enjoying any reward since he is no longer around. Although I don't agree with this litigation as the songs are not similar enough, I do think that at the minimum credit should be given when it is an obvious ripoff.
