  There are multiple references of copying by both the parties. But the baseline is that they both want more of the market share in search engine pie.
  
  Now once they are on each other, they will surely try to co-innovate by this kind of search.
  
  In the end, WE are going to get the better product.

  By suing lot of people will not lead to the solution. They had limitation in accessing the details and finally they started assault on the companies to make high profit.

  Patent Wars - Just showcase of power

  on And Now Europe Feels The Need To Catch Up To China And The US In The Self-Destructive Patent Race
  I guess these patent wars are just the showcase of powers for the companies. They are ideally blocking the company to find new things after they files a patent for something which is new to the market.

  I am not able to understand one thing. Why everyday people debate on one thing. Making one or the other product of google as the paid version.
  
  But guys.. remember one thing, Google is built on the advertising payment model and it has lot of sources to generate revenue.
  
  If at all they want to monetize any of its product, they will bundle it with lot of other products. Eg. Google Apps

  Hacking attempts are always required for the successful testing of any system.
  
  And it will be good if the attempt is made by someone outside the system.
  
  It is a mixed feeling but in the future much more robust system should be made so that the systems are not hacked frequently.

  Hyperlinks and Online Contract are meaningless

  If you check out the theme of the online contract concept, its totally useless. How many of you are actually reading EULA??? How many of you actually know your rights which are associated with the product. If you think honestly, it will actually boil down to zero. So I guess the W3 consortium should come into picture to change the whole scenario.   Ha ha.. This is one of the best joke I have read today on the cybermedia. It took 5 years for google homepage patent to get approved.. How can they approve other patents faster. As the technology advances, the complexity rises. So you need to be well prepared in advance to face more patents and at the same time you should be ready to approve it also.   I have seen this whole issue at the bird eye but i was not expecting this kind of settlement. I may be wrong in this concept but things change by time.
