Point being - after the crash happened and the dust settled the web continued to get more and more amazing. I suspect that after the web3 crash there may be nothing left by grief and atmospheric carbon.
There's a big difference between the web in 1999 and web3 today. By 1999, around 150M people were using the web and getting actual value out of it. The number of people using web3 for something besides speculation is tiny. And crypto has been around for 13 years.
