    Re: Re:

Peter Mandelson, was twice kicked out of tony Blairs govenment. once in 1999 (Quote from Wikipedia)" On 16 October 2000 it was reported that Geoffrey Robinson, the Labour MP, "accused Peter Mandelson of lying to the Commons about the home loan affair that cost both of them their Government jobs."[23][24]

He was then kicked out of the Government in 2001 (Quote from Wikipedia) "On 24 January 2001, Mandelson resigned from the Government for a second time following accusations of using his position to influence a passport application.[26][27]"

He was instrumental in bringing in the DEA (it has since been discovered through a FOI request that he was "influenced" by Lucian Grainge, CEO of Universal Music Group) against the wishes of the British Public.

how is it that such a corrupt Politician is able to stay in the House of Lords when it is so obvious that does not deserve to be called a "Lord"

    Re: Re:

Really, Judge Birse, remember him, he was the high court judge who tried the ACS LAW/MEDIACAT debarcle earlier this year, he said in his ruling that "[The claimant’s] monitoring exercise cannot and does not purport to identify the individual who actually did anything. All the IP address identifies is an internet connection, which is likely today to be a wireless home broadband router. All [this] monitoring can identify is the person who has the contract with their ISP to have internet access. …[the claimant does] not know who did it and know that they do not know who did it.”

the powers that be seem to have conveniently forgotton this ruling in their haste to press forward with the DEA.

Just to remind all the Trolls out there,......AN IP ADDRESS DOES NOT IDENTIFY AN INDIVIDUAL.

Re: This Shows How Bad Piracy Is Becoming

No, they used a company called DIGIPROTECT to do their dirty work, what is their motto,.....Turn Piracy into Profit !!.

These bottom feeding scum lawyers new exactly what they were doing and they new that many people they were targeting were innocent but they didnt let a little thing like that bother them. to them and their firm it was all about raising as much money as possible for as little effort as possible. it was only when they (DAVENPORT LYONS) were getting adverse publicity that they decideded to get out of the game and hand the batton to ACS LAW.

These lawyers got exactly what they should, they brought the legal profession into disripute and have forever associated the prestigious law firm DAVENPORT LYONS with this sordid episode of SPECULATIVE INVOICING.

fought and died for a free country

Oh my God, My Grandfather must be turning in his grave, he fought and died so that we may live in a free country. What the hell has happened to this country, we allow the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of AMERICA) to force this governement to openly censor the internet. I dont care wether the site is infringing or not, the fact remains that now that you can censor one site you can censor any site deemed (by Who??) to be infringing.

    Is it just US Citizens

I am British and have travelled to the US many times since 9/11. I have never had either of the situations happen to me. My question is is it just US Citizens who have this disgusting degrading procedure carried out on them?
