"I think it's awfully hard for the American people to trust the President and his administration when their best response to the concerns Americans are raising is to denigrate the Americans raising those concerns."
So, basically, they're behaving like trolls? Well, we know how to deal with that, don't we?!/div>
Ho hum, time to fire up Tor and enable HTTPS Everywhere.
Not to sound smug or anything, but as soon as the Tories were elected I saw this day coming, because they tried it last time they were in power... along with cutting benefits for the disabled, single parent families, unemployed and seniors. [all of which they've done again].
Cameron has no new ideas, he's just trying to relive the glory days of Maggie.
The oly difference being is people complained more when Maggie did it, and the scunners were forced to back down a bit. Nowadays, we're all too bloody apathetically British to give a crap./div>
Just goes to show, no matter what the guy in the big White House says, it's still business as usual in the offices inside the Beltway.
Although, those yelling 'thanks Obama' should probably remember that he doesn't sign off, or even know about, everything the Government does. Most departments of which are still headed by Bush-era appointees, [that's GW and HW Bush!] when they're not being run by Regan or Nixon era guys. Hence the political inertia.
Still nothing new though... anyone else remember what Watergate was all about?/div>
