Always hated verizon. They've always been more friendly with government and special interests (i.e. MPAA/RIAA mafia) than with their regular customers. As long as they're making money, why should they care about you? Bank of america along with other institutions screwed the American people with bad home loans. Then screwed everybody by taking away they're homes and making billions of dollars more in the process. NONE went to jail. But many people, stupidly, still do business with them./div>
Learn how to manage your own computer. You are responsible for what is on your computer. It doesn't take a rocket scientist. Or a degree in computer science. Yes. Botnets and malware are the exception. However, the wife was already aware of the installed software from the first warning notice. Her first failure was blindly letting the husband install something on her computer without understanding what it was, or the responsibilities involved in using or removing the application. They're both to blame. Although, for fun.. I think the wife should take the husband out back to the woodshed and jog his memory with a 2x4. And make that a youtube moment./div>
All I know, is I stopped buying IT hardware/network products from US based companies after the rise of wikileaks. Snowden only confirmed my decision. I've also replaced my pre-existing US-network devices. Screw the NSA and all of their apologists./div>
Law enforcement is supposed to be layered. If school security can't handle it, then local police assist. If local PD can't deal, then state or national guard are to assist. One organization should not be the all-in-one response solution. I believe they refer to those as terrorists. Which is how I would view them and treat them as such. I would say this is how the government should view them, but they are too old and stupid to realize it./div>
ANY form of physical or mental distress applied to a suspect or individual(s) for the purpose of coercion is considered torture. No IFs, ANDs, or BUTs about it. The US government is guilty of lying to its citizens and to the world, that it does not torture people. When in fact, they do./div>
Personally, I think it is a crime against humanity for trying to claim a legal right of ownership over any part of it. By other actions as well, and without any regard to it's citizens, Australia has earned the title of Copyright Capital of the World. It's a corporate IP friendly country with a government which lacks any form of common sense./div>
