  Over the years I've had plenty of letters from the IRS saying they amended my tax return. Sometimes in my favor sometimes not. And they already have in place policies and procedures should you want to question/contest their amendments.

  I applied. Immediately got this email: "Thank you for your application to join Facebook's Rights Manager tool on behalf of X. Unfortunately, based on the information you provided, you have not been accepted into the tool today. Facebook is slowly introducing Rights Manager to partners on the basis of their needs. We encourage you to apply again after 30 days as we continue to accept more partners into the tool."
  
  I have no clue on what basis they have decided I don't need this.

  on Cord Cutting's Not-So Imaginary Any More: One Fifth Of Consumers Could Ditch Cable TV Next Year
  I don't have cable. I don't even have a tv. However when house sitting at friends who do I'm amazed at how horrible the cable box is programmed. Should be able to simply filter out all currently unsubscribed channels from the 2000 in the guide. Then also filter out pay-per-view. And then show only HD channels instead of their SD counterparts. But no. I spend hours clicking on channels only to see "you are not subscribed to this channel." Well why the hell is it in the guide? You can set up a favorites list but it's a PITA to get to and also add channels to.

  on While Better Than Expected, New FAA Drone Rules Would Still Kill Some Promising Business Models
  It's apparently not for "safety" as hobbyists are excluded from the rules. I'm at a complete loss why they are creating stricter rules for commercial use.
