  I don't want to finger point anymore than people probably already have but maybe the mom should consider herself to blame? Perhaps you didn't monitor your child's activity enough and allowed them to use too much social media. At some point you have to take responsibility as a parent.

  I really feel for the mom, a parent should never have to burry their child. But it does more harm than good to shift the blame elsewhere and doesn't help anybody.

  How is this system supposed to stop a school shooting when the shooter is a student wihtout and indication they were a threat?
