If you make the mistake of hitting "enter" while entering a coupon code, the order is immediately irreversibly submitted WITHOUT the coupon code.
There is no "oops I screwed up; please cancel this" button. Amazon might have 1-click ordering but at least there you can undo a mistake.
There is no phone number to call.
There is no e-mail address to send to.
The "contact us" page fails miserably in Google Chrome (tried in Linux and OS/X - fails with "Your response is incorrect. Please try again.") Finally got it to work in Firefox. Also fails in Konqueror, FWIW.
Regarding the phone number, I also contacted my CC issuer and while they found the pending transaction even they could not find a contact phone number.
Lesson learned. The price was right for the item, but the cost is too high.
