I'm surprised more streaming sites aren't taking advantage of the dreaded "location" feature (or bug, depending on your perspective) in browsers so they can serve up region-specific commercials the way that TV companies do. That would eliminate the need for having generic Internet-only ads that replay several times throughout a broadcast./div>
I think it's funny that people who purposely publish offensive material whine when people respond with offensive comments and idle threats.
Yes, you absolutely have the right to offend people, but they also have the right to be offended, no matter how irrational it is. Playground rules apply. If you talk about someone's mama, be prepared to get chewed out or maybe even get your butt kicked./div>
I think you're all ignoring the real issue here. Harris Faulkner is an awful name for a cute little hamster. If anything, the news anchor is only drawing attention to the fact that her cruel parents named a baby girl Harris, also not cute./div>
Let's just take the book analogy a step further. DRM seems to only exist because companies can and not because they necessarily should. After all, that book you bought 30 years ago still works, and you can freely photocopy it as much as you want. I don't think book sales ever suffered because there were thousands of book pirates running around with photocopied books./div>
