Since subpoenaing the anonymizing VPN service, assuming it is within AZ, would get them nothing since nothing is logged, how could they prove anything unless they go door to door checking each person's computer for porn and VPN software?/div>
Who defines hate? Some consider mere indifference to be hate. Would disapproving of a president due to poor management yet still respecting the president be considered hate? Or would it require a level of malice towards the president?/div>
I believe such draconian regulations could lead to a splinternet. Each country or union could end up with its own internet. The US internet, EU internet, AU internet, JP internet. Just like how China and North Korea have their own isolated internets to maintain their level of censorship and data collection./div>
Journalist Joe: I seek to investigate a state senator for suspicion of corruption.
REQUEST DENIED!
Cronies of the suspected senator: Acquire records of Journalist Joe without any formalities. (They find that Journalist Joe kissed a female classmate when in 3rd grade) Reported to the public: Journalist Joe sexually assaulted a 9-year-old girl.
Confirmed: ISP's blocking traffic to anti-ISP activist group websites and discussion threads to prevent balanced discussion of ISP behaviors. ISP's claim free speech. <*Italic*not really. At least not yet.*Italic*>/div>
I bet most of all this patented information has been known for decades but no one went to patent it because that could potentially become self-incrimination./div>
Some officers or even an entire PD of the city will classify refusing to consent to a search as evidence allowing probable cause and thus they'll search your car anyway. Or sometimes they ask a loaded question such as "You still have marijuana in your car?" On one of the video compilations on youtube of corrupt/bad officers, a driver's dash cam recorded the officer asking the question I quoted above. The drive did not far for it./div>
These ones that use an internet connection and/or cellular. What would happen if a firewall policy was made or the CPAP machine was in a faraday bag? Would it still function or not? What if you use in an area outside cell range or with no internet?/div>
They do not compete because they are also the ISP. If things on the cable side get too uncomfortable then they just have to make streaming video unappealing. Since they can do whatever they want to their own lines, just increase the prices, implement data caps and zero ratings, and throttle the streaming sites./div>
So gender discrimination works only one way. Company A hires only women and no one cares. Company B hires only men, at its a lawsuit that makes the international headlines./div>
I would give the City/PD an option. Those involved make a formal apology on the local news admitting what was done and why it was wrong and I drop the lawsuit. Remain stubborn and I would continue the lawsuit. That would put the ball in their court to decide whether or not to waste tax-payer money on this case./div>
In the early 2000’s, Mayes county, OK gained a bad rep because the county police would ticket you the maximum fine allowed for even the slightest traffic violation. A county resident who lived near the southern border of Mayes county and owned property adjacent to Highway 69 posted a billboard warning drivers of the county’s treatment of traffic violators. I used to travel along 69 through Mayes county a few times per year to visit family in Joplin, MO. Last time I drove through the area was in 2005. It was still up. I do not know what the status is now nor do I know if any legal battle broke out over it./div>
I see this leading to a state-run religion. Now they will be like many of the Arab nations. Religion and politics go hand-in-hand. A parallel of Sharia Law is instituted. And to promote another religion gets you thrown in prison or worse for insulting the state-run religion./div>
What are these people who are telling advertisers to stop advertising on Breitbart.com saying? Are they simply asking "Please stop?" or are they telling the advertisers distorted info or outright lies about Brietbart.com? If they are feeding false data about Brietbart.com to these advertisers, then filing these lawsuits would be valid and not a SLAPP./div>
