A lack of intent to kill does not mean that physical harm was not intended, the novelty of the delivery vector is irrelevant.
Much as I complain about us being a desert hellscape, this is why I love this state at times. We're so solidly purple that, unless you live in Albuquerque, you're largely safe from the stupidity found elsewhere.
It's kind of amazing watching a company that paints itself as legitimate engage in what amounts to saturation bombing via water balloon slingshot as their M.O.
Really, really sad, but amazing just the same.
