  First they removed the backward compatibility, and I said nothing because I already had my 60Gb PS3.
  Then they came for Other OS, and still I said nothing because I didn't use Other OS.

  on Copyright Once Again Being Used To Hinder Culture, Not Enable It
  To those wondering if other music could be used, yeah - probably not. I've seen several clips of the movie and the songs aren't simply there in the background; Sita is actually singing them as a form of narration for what is going on. Thus simply using different songs would require completely reanimating much of the movie.

  Why does everyone seem to assume that technology is driven by the current generation of Youth? Yes, they are the quickest to adapt to it, but they generally aren't the ones doing the innovation on it, and they certainly aren't the ones bringing it to the marketplace.
  
  To put it anther way, there's far more "old people" in the US buying crap than there are "young people". And Weezer still matters to us "old" farts (I'm 34).

  Universal disables embedding for all their videos on Youtube. It's a real PITA when I am putting together a Youtube playlist for my blog, and I have to provide separate links for any videos from Universal Music.

  If you are talking about Top 40 trash, then yes, the album is an outdated concept; but for nearly everything else, no, the album is still viable.
  I rarely ever buy a cd without knowing that there are a minimum of three good songs on it. The exceptions are cd's by artists I've seen live, and I know that I am going to like what I hear.
