The best people are apparently not advising the president on how to keep his vaunted Twitter account secure.
That's rather an assumption. Trump is infamous for clinging to his delusions rather than taking advice. The best people may be advising him, but the chances of the advice being taken are low. Very low.
I've tried both Firefox and Chrome and all I get in the video the "viral video" link provides is an endless circle. However, I was able to find it on YouTube:
Why do Federal Attorney Generals behave pretty much like spoiled two-year-olds instead of responsible adults? Or is it that there's something in the coffee at DOJ?
That doesn't change the fact that the police seized his hardware and information, and have had plenty of time to copy everything. Even if they can't use that information directly, I'm sure somebody will go through it looking for "where to look." Figuring where to look is over 90% of any investigation. Then they'll make up excuses for how they did it.
It's a peopleware problem. The endless tinkering and revisioning of the law has exactly the same effect as any other carelessly analyzed software revision. In a word, bugs. Systems tend to get more complex as they grow, and when they pass the threshold of our ability to understand them, they are unmaintainable and either have to be abandoned or replaced with simpler, more maintainable ones.
The peopleware in this case is the legislature. They don't understand the effects of their actions, but they DO understand throwing bones to their supporters.
"The penalty for mopery and dopery isn't strict enough? I'll put a bill through and thanks for the donations."
"The penalty for mopery and dopery is too strict? I'll put a bill through and thanks for the donations."
Wash, rinse, repeat and ignore the fact that the towels are being turned into rags.
A company that will pull a stunt like this is one that will cause a lot of people to ask themselves "Why should I buy anything from these dungheads?" I'm going to be very curious about Blizzard's future revenue levels./div>
My wife and I have used WordPerfect since about version 1. It looks like we're going to have to find something else for our word processing needs. Our livelihoods depend on getting documents right and ready quickly, and we seriously don't need to risk a disaster.
The best people...

Anybody want to go after those idiots for being anti-american? :)
/div>Anybody have an idea why this is so?

/div>Every tool has two sides.
That pretty much says it all. Example: Guns can be used to defend. On the other hand...
The same thing goes for every tool from rocks to everything else humanity has ever built or done.

Good luck with that. I'm not going to do business with a company like that.
/div>If you want Godlike power...
you had damn well better be prepared to a deal with the demands of Godlike responsibility.

Unfortunately...

Cyberwar is the first combat arena where the only way you can use your weapons is to give them intact to the enemy to examine and duplicate.
