How about computer privileges? Does he have friends on the outside so business can continue as usual? For the life of me I cannot see how people can make so much money in the way he did...
Does the MPAA even know how to read server logs? The admins could try and block the abusers ports.
Someone had mentioned torrents or Kazza..Kazza possibly yes, torrents no..even Microsoft uses torrents and if torrents are used the system has no way of telling if its a legal software download or a movie.
How did this happen on the first day? Easy, management. Management no doubt made the decision to go live the first day of school without a test period...I have been there twice on a new Point of Sale System installation in a technical institute bookstore.
After the glitches first day of classes a manager of finance and the project manager asked me how long it would be before the bugs were worked out..I commented, "about 6 months to a year typically" and he did not believe me,it was pretty much a year before the system was functioning without daily issues.
I cant'tspeak for Tampa Bay taxi drivers but the average income for a driver, not an owner in my city in Western Canada is $45,000-$ 60,000 a year. Owners make more.Our city has 3 taxi companies and they all charge the same fee's as the fee's are set by the taxi union and the city council.
In the end it comes down to customer service and supply and demand...in lots of cases its cheaper to take a limo.
