We need to modernize the laws to reflect the reality that cell phones, BlackBerrys and text messaging are an everyday extension of the workplace and are here to stay," said Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass. "Cell phones are no longer executive perks or luxury items, and our tax code cannot treat them that way anymore./div>
If people are online, other family members can also get online and interact. And, no, I'm not saying that's an acceptable substitute for face-to-face family time, but it should at least be recognized that it's a different type of communication, rather than just some blackhole./div>
If someone provides services at a price that's too high then someone else is free to provide service at a lower price. They all use the same "highway" to provide the service. The government should NOT grant monopolies./div>
The fact that the scraper reads copyrighted content shouldn't mean that it's infringement. It's not doing anything with that content other than using it to find the content it can make use of./div>
The PPA will pursue every legal course available to ensure that poker players' funds are not seized and their right to play poker online is protected./div>
