I hope Karen Kwiatkowski wins her campaign. At the very least, it tells the elected corporate shills that they are on notice to the consequences of their lackey laws trying to stifle free speech and the internet./div>
The cable-cutters that I know despise streaming with commercials. Torrents on the player of their choice with no commercials wins big with the home crowd and works for much of the mobile crew.
State AGs go after CL as a high profile easy target without the resources to fight back. Newspapers love writing bad things about CL since CL cleaned their greedy clock by publishing ads for free.
CL only started charging for adult services after being forced into it by State AGs. Now State AGs argue that CL is making too much money off the ads--that they forced CL into charging for.
Prostitution is one issue. Trafficking in UA children for sex crimes is another. Free speech is a fundamental right given by the US Constitution.
Considering that State AGs are the highest profile example of their profession in every state, it clearly shows why lawyers are held in such low regard. They are collectively willing to trample the Constitution to further their careers./div>
I have been off the cable grid for 11 months living on Netflix, torrents and Hulu. I saw my first commercial in 10 months last week. It was a surprise to realize how long it had been since my last commercial and how good it was to not have to watch them.
My cable provider is "Ygnition" which is essentially a re-biller for Direct-TV targeted for apt complexes. Ygnition is 2x the price of Direct-TV. Direct-TV is clearly in collusion with Ygnition since they will not provide service at an Ygnition served complex.
It is great to be able to watch an entire series back-to-back. The last few days it was the PBS/Ken Burns saga of WWII - WAR. No commericals, no pledge drives and watching it whenever I want--such as now at 4 AM./div>
I am not going to do any woodcrafting projects, but I totally support you to keep teaching others how make nice furniture/projects for themselves.
Keep on teaching! Schooling WS is not a bad thing either./div>
We had a Mermaid of Copenhagen statue in our front yard since I was a kid in the 1960s. Never entered our minds that it would be a copyright violation 40 years later.
When will the madness stop?/div>
