  It seems a bit hypocritical dish/cable provider complaining that they want what looks like to me ala carte pricing for airing shows when customers have been repeatedly denied.

  exactly, thanks. What really gets me upset is when microsoft starts saying how it supports open source and points to suse and all the donations theyve made then they turn around and sue on BS patents.
