Yawning As Social Behavior

Do people yawn for a reason? There are all sorts of crazy theories. Here's one more: yawning is a leftover social behavior from our more primitive days. According to this story, yawning suggests who is the leader of a social herd and is usually followed by "submissive" yawns. So try yawning at your next meeting to see if anyone subconsciously bends to your will....Thank you for reading this Techdirt post.
