The Y2K+1 Bug

from the oops dept

I've been hearing a few reports of Y2K+1 bugs. Basically, companies that put in a hack fix for Y2K that just wanted to make sure it would work on January 1, 2000, but didn't really think about what would happen the next year. Most of these are easily corrected. The biggest one I've heard of, though, is the trains in Norway stopped working Monday morning. Oops.
